While I appreciate all the work being done by so many to resolve the Boat Lift/Barrier issue I can’t help but wonder what good it will do to resolve this problem as the oil begins to flow into our waters. It seems like it will all be in vain.
Is there a plan to construct sand barriers at the several entrances to the pass, harbor, and sound to keep the oil in the Gulf? I have been hoping to hear something on the news or online but have been disappointed. Let’s get a barge and a trackhoe and start moving some sand into place.
