Greater Pine Island Elks Charity Car Show benefits the Army of Hope The Greater Pine Island Elks Lodge 2781 is holding its 2nd Annual Army of Hope Car Show on Saturday, January 29th. It will be held at the lodge from 9am to 3pm, 5630 Pine Island Road, Bokeelia, to raise funds for the Florida State Elks Army of Hope project.

The Army of Hope is a major state project of the Florida Elks established in 2007. Its mission is to provide aid assistance to the families of deceased, disabled, and deployed members of the military. Since its inception, the Army of Hope has raised $620,208 and distributed $508,591 for families of deployed military members. The help our members give through the Florida Army of Hope allows the military member to safely concentrate on his/her duties without worrying about the family at home. The Army of Hope also assists returning veterans with costs to re-establish their civilian life after deployment.

100% of the proceeds will benefit the Florida Elks Veterans Project – Army of Hope. No registration fee, prizes will be awarded for classes, people's choice, and Best in Show. DJ music, raffles, and food & beverages . The car show is open to the public to enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship, join us in celebrating and helping our deployed military and veterans.
