July 4th Parade ten months after Hurricane Ian hits southwest Florida and devastates Matlacha and greater Pine Island.

The Annual Pine Island 4th of July, 2023, Parade and events,  --- began as in previous years at 10 AM, at Winn Dixie shopping plaza and traveled north on Stringfellow Road to the 4-way intersection, and then left on Pine Island Road to the Elks Lodge at Pine Island Center.

After the end parade, the Elks Lodge was closed due to the severe damage by the hurricane –  The Moose Lodge & the American Legion Post, had food and beverages available.
