Lee County CoOp has been conducting regular upgrading and maintenance on the power lines on Pine Island. Shown here are these upgrades being performed in the Bokeelia area. The linemen warn the local residents of the short power outage while they do the maintenance.

They request an hour in case there is damage to the poles. Otherwise the outages are of an average of ten minutes. These upgrades are often due to weather damage to the poles and equipment on the poles.
